Adam Lyerly grew up farming in Northeast Arkansas and at a young age made duck hunting his life. He spent his winters chasing ducks from one end of the county to the other. He started Bayou DeView Outfitters over 15 years ago and has grown it into one of the most successful waterfowl guiding operations in the State of Arkansas. Adam also started Bayou DeView Duck Blinds which quickly became the largest custom manufacturer of pit blinds in the United States. Through a lifetime of hunting ducks, Adam knows what it takes to be successful in the waterfowl business.
Robb Watts got in the duck call business through competition duck calling. In 1996, he quickly developed a passion for competition calling and set out to master the art and science of calling ducks. He has qualified for the World Duck Calling Championship more than 10 times, finishing in the Top 5 at least five times. Robb knows the duck call manufacturing business first hand, he was formerly the National Sales Manager of one of the most successful duck call companies in the U.S.
Adam and Robb met in 1998 and their shared passion for waterfowl and duck calling developed into a life-long friendship. Together Adam and Robb formed Refuge Call Company. The Refuge business model is simple - Produce a World-Class duck call with unmatched customer service.
